It’s not rare to see discounts on the NanoCell line, but it is rare for those discounts to top $100 off. Since 2017, LG’s NanoCell TVs have been a solid choice that we keep coming back to. The technology builds on LCD and LED by deploying particles to soak up light and boost color saturation, while still staying out of the QLED price range. This one stretches that beautiful upscaled quality across 75 inches — so if you’re still viewing on a 55-inch, the price to size up ain’t half bad.

OUR TOP PICK: — $898 (save $401.99)
The X750H kicks off Sony’s stellar mid-range line of 4K TVs. Going with a bigger display like this one could help mitigate its shallow viewing angles — compared to its pricier siblings, at least. However, it is armed with the same processor and 4K X-Reality PRO database as the X800H and X900H, using an algorithm to upscale all content to as-close-to-4K as possible. Sony’s Triluminous display seals the deal.

OUR TOP PICK: TCL 55-inch 5-Series QLED 4K Smart TV (55S535) — $478 (save $221.99)
The chance to upgrade to QLED (on a 55-inch display, no less) for less than $500 is a prime example of just how mainstream this once-elusive technology has become. The 5 Series is the entry-level tier of the bunch and doesn’t have the same brightness as the 6-Series or 8-Series. But for the price, it’s a solid budget QLED with punchy colors and built-in Roku.
