LinkedIn Introduces New Page Messaging Feature – TechEconomy

To help its users better connect with customers worldwide, LinkedIn is set to introduce new messaging feature this month, TechEconomy can report.

The new LinkedIn Page coming out this month will become even an easier way for customers to reach out to businesses, rather than calling or emailing.

“For businesses, messaging can drive results across the customer journey whether it’s building trust in your brand or driving high-quality leads.

“To help you connect with customers, members on LinkedIn will now be able to message you, the admin of the page, by directly clicking on the “Message” button at the top of your LinkedIn Page”.

This feature, TechEconomy gathered, is rolling out throughout the month of May and will serve as the primary CTA (call to action) on the page (along with “follow” for non-followers of your page).

Here’s some important information from LinkedIn:

1. By late-May, “Message” button will appear as the default CTA on all LinkedIn Pages with only a single admin assigned.

Your Custom CTA will now appear in the overflow menu at the top of the page.

2. By clicking on “Message” CTA, members can message the admin of the Page by pre-selecting a list of topics to message about including request a demo and job inquiry among others.

3. All messages from members will be sent to a new admin inbox, accessible from the Page admin view as well as your personal inbox.

4. You can disable the message button at any time from your Page admin inbox which can be accessed through the admin view.
